Each spouse registers for the site and then accesses an online questionnaire to create a free Maryland specific Marital Separation Agreement (MSA). A Maryland divorce mediator will review your MSA and compare it to your spouse’s version to determine where there is conflict. The evaluation by the divorce mediator is free. Not every situation is appropriate for online divorce mediation. The divorce mediator will determine, based on the evaluation of your points of agreement and conflict, whether you are eligible to be accepted into the Online Divorce Mediation Program.

Each party pays a flat fee of $200.00. We can arrange for one party to pay the entire flat fee of $400.

If you are eligible of this Online Divorce Mediation program, there are many benefits:

  • Convenience - You can mediate from the comfort of your home.
  • Cost - We offer a fixed fee service that includes the divorce mediation process, plus all of the forms you need to file for an uncontested divorce in the states that we serve. The fixed fee enables you to control and budget your costs. You can save thousands of dollars in legal fees and thousands of dollars in traditional mediation fees by using this process. Our fixed fee is $750 per couple which includes a final Marital Separation Agreement and all of the forms that you need to file for divorce in your state.
  • Anonymity – You don’t need to be in the physical room with your spouse during the mediation. Many spouses prefer not be in the same room with their spouse during mediation. If domestic violence is an issue in your marriage, Online Divorce Mediation is a good alternative to get your divorce resolved.
  • Speed – This process can be over in a day and you file your uncontested divorce after the required waiting period and get on with your life without incurring high legal fees.

Mediation online at mediation1st

Sometimes a face to face mediation isn't the answer. The sums involved may make the cost of getting all the parties and their advisors together in the same place disproportionate. It may be impossible to agree on a date and time. Disability may prevent a party attending in person.

We offer two alternatives to traditional mediation, each using online technology, to make mediation possible even in cases where the conventional approach is inappropriate;

  1. Mediation by video conference
Let online video conference technology bring the mediation right into your office or home.
  2. Emediation
Replacing the private sessions and joint sessions of conventional mediations with secure on line private and joint chat rooms, emediation is mediation freed from the constraints of "when" and "where".

And best of all, settlement rates for both mediation by video conference and for emediation are comparable to those for "real world" mediation.

Mit MOL lösen Sie Ihren Fall in nur 5 Schritten:
